Back when I was younger I used to listen to this song on cd in my lexus every morning on my way to work at merrill lynch. I was forced to quit drinking and smoking pot by the "employee assistance" program and was being professionally harassed constantly by all the "professionals" there.
The person I was in "love" with who told me to "wait" for her had left and married someone else and was having children.
Pretty much made me cry every time because it is so sad.
Such is life and the path to immortality.
She is completely unattractive to me now, and merrill lynch pretty much went bankrupt even with the bailout dollars.
I havent had any alcohol in like 18 years and detest the smell of it. I won. They left town and I am still here.

+Scott D, our path is full of sadness, but you did prevail even when you thought you wouldn't Be proud of your accomplishment. I have seen substance abuse and alcohol destroy some great people, because it is very difficult to quit. My grandfather was a weekend alcoholic, he served 30 years in military, and fought two wars, but no one is ever the same, how could they be? He quit drinking for 15 years, but it might have been too late, he died young at 54 years old. There is someone who is worthy of you. Keep moving forward as we should all do.
